Customer of everything, owner of nothing

Why the wealth gap is an ownership gap, and what a third market does about it.

Customer of everything. Owner of nothing.

You pay the club, the festival, the brand, the app. For years. You are the reason they exist. And you own none of it, because the pipes that let a person own a piece of a business were built for exchanges and funds, and they run one way. Spending went global decades ago. Ownership didn’t.

Public markets are for companies already huge. Private markets are invite-only. Between them is everyone else: founders too early for the first, people never invited to the second. That is the third market, and until now it had no plumbing.

The enemy was never the founder, or the fan, or even the fund. It was the plumbing.
